Terms & Conditions:
- Children under 3 years old and children of any age who are weak or non-swimmers
(unable to swim 1 length unaided), must be accompanied and closely supervised in the
water by a parent or guardian at a ratio of 1:1
- Children 4 to 7 years old must always be accompanied and closely supervised by a
parent or guardian in the water at a ratio of 2:1.
- Children 8 to 15 years old must always be accompanied and closely supervised by a
parent or guardian in the pool hall at a ratio of 3:1.
- Users accompanied by children under 16 are advised that they are responsible for their
supervision, conduct and welfare at all times.
- Where requested, users of the changing rooms will be advised that children under 16
years old should be accompanied and supervised in the changing rooms by a parent or
guardian. Children under the age of 8 may change in either sex changing room.
Please also abide by the following:

- We request that you shower before and after using the facilities.

- Appropriate swim attire must be worn when using the facilities.

- Use of the pool under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicating substances is not permitted.

- Individuals who have suffered from diarrhoea or vomiting within the previous 48 hours should not use the facilities.

- You are recommended to seek medical advice prior to using the facility if you have a health condition.

- Diving, unruly behaviour and misuse of equipment is not permitted.
The ratios are not additive, therefore if one ratio is met then no further children can be added to the
booking, for instance a parent with one child under three could bring no other children into the pool
without further adults.
Our customers are limited to booking one session per day for their family to ensure that everyone
can make use of our facilities. In peak times (listed on our main website) Meadow Bay reserve the
right to cancel session for customers that are found to have booked multiple sessions.
Where requested, users of the changing rooms will be advised that children under 16 years old
